Welcome to the NEW website of the Moncton Flight Information Region!

The Moncton FIR is located in Eastern Canada providing service to airports of three maritime provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, as well as significant overflight coverage feeding flights to Gander FIR and the Boston ARTCC. Also bordering us is Montreal FIR to the North, and New York Oceanic to the South.

There are many advantages to flying in Moncton, some of which include the proximity of a wide variety of airports boasting fantastic scenery and excellent approaches. Whether you're looking for the IFR haul or short hops in your favourite VFR airplane, the Moncton FIR provides virtual pilots with excellent service at a level everyone can feel comfortable with.
